Hi there! I'm Marc.

I’m an inventor, technologist, and creative currently based in Cambridge, Massachusetts where I’m a Master of Design Studies candidate at the Harvard Graduate School of Design. I previously received my Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science and Arts from Carnegie Mellon University. My education in computer science, art, design, and engineering informs my interdisciplinary approach to research and my mission to expand the creative capabilities of technologies.

This mission is the purpose of my interdisciplinary background: I can look beyond the silo within which a technology is developed and understand its implications to other fields. Computer science and engineering give me the technical chops to build complex systems, while arts and design give me perspective on how these systems can and could fit into the world.

My mission is an innately creative endeavor: creative in terms of discovering novel applications of technologies, and creative in terms of making novel applications work in practice.
